Support for SSL certificates with IP address in SAN?

Curious if the ProxySGs will allow for certificates that include the public IP address of a site on the Subject Alternative Name field of the certificate.  We have a customer that has this on their site and their SG is throwing a Subject Name mismatch error when they try to access the site via IP address.  Unsure if this would require some extra configuration or if it won't accept that.  I see that you can create exceptions for sites, but am wondering if that would be necessary to prevent a certificate error.
