Hi all,
My DLP version is 14.0 and the Windows server is 2012 R2. I have the endpoint prevent license only.
What I want to do is to ignore the internal email communication inside the company.
We are using Lotus Notes 8.5.3. Practically, we send email by entering the short names in the recepient address, e.g. TO: user1/domain, user2/domain, user3/domain. This short name email is the default format in Lotus Notes. If we press F9, the email can change to user1@domain.com. However, it is not practical. When we enter comma after the first email address, it will automatically change to the short name e.g. user1/domain.
i have read the following articles and try to ignore the short name Lotus Notes email but not work:
https://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/exclude-internalinternal-lotus-notes-email-endpoint
What I have configured in the policy is adding the exception by using recepient match pattern and add "@domain.com" and "/domain" into the Email Address pattern. Only the @domain.com email will be excluded. Apart from using the recepient match pattern or the methods in the above articles, anyone has idea to ignore the short name Lotus Notes email? Many thanks!!!
